POSITION: TRUCK DRIVER

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Truck Driver is responsible for delivering and transporting goods to Consumers. The Driver must ensure that all goods are transported and delivered safely to all Consumers.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure delivery trucks are loaded for daily deliveries.

• Ensure the correct items are delivered to the correct Customers and in good condition.

• Collect payment from the Customers and ensure its accuracy.

• Safeguard all goods while on delivery.

• Make certain trucks are properly parked, locked and goods are secured.

• Operate trucks responsibly; not recklessly.

• Capable of lifting heavy items.

• Other duties which may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma.

• 5 years driving experience.

• Valid Driver’s license.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
